Open-Boat means open to the public 7 days a week. We work on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations needed or accepted. We recommend always calling the day before coming down to ensure we are holding open boat fishing for that day.
Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Our boats are docked at the World's Fair Marina (a.k.a. Citi Field Marina) Flushing Bay, New York. Our boats are located at pier 1. We are behind Citi Field (New York Mets' stadium), we share the same marina and parking lot with Skyline Princess Cruises. We can also arrange for Manhattan pick-ups and drop-offs, dockage rates would apply.
On weekdays, 30-40 minutes, weekends 1 hour to an hour and a half prior to departure.
Yes, parking is free for our customers. The parking lot is located outside the marina entrance (directly across from pier one). Please look for our sign in front of the lot.
You can pay the fare on the boat (day of). We accept cash and all major credit cards (subject up to a 3% service fee). Or you can also purchase tickets online.
Yes! You can purchase them through Peek (purchases through Peek are non refundable)
No reservations are offered for seating. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Yes, we will provide you with a rod & reel and supply the bait & tackle. If you would like additional bait, such as worms, they are available for purchase on board. Lost or intentionally damaged rod/reel(s) are susceptible to lost/damage fee(s) of $100.00 each.
No, our charter license covers all passengers.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that everyone on the boat will catch fish.
It is best to call us directly, (516) 322-7442. We cannot receive text messages.
You can book online or give us a call! We will check our available dates and walk you through the process. Booking a private charter is time sensitive. We recommend you make the reservation deposit 2 weeks in advance.
If the captain feels it isn't safe, we will reschedule the trip.
No, deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. Charter cancellations on the day of the trip will be charged in full.

Yes, personal coolers, as space is limited. We can provide you with free ice at our dock.
Yes, you may bring your own fishing rod. Please limit yourself to one rod per person. We a suggest monofilament line.
We typically use bunker for Bluefish, Striped Bass, clams for Porgies, spearing for Fluke and crabs for Blackfish. It depends on the species and bait that have been working well. Some baits, like live eels and worms, are not free of charge throughout the trip.
Depending on where the fish are currently biting, the ride could be as little as 30 minutes or as far as 2.5 hours.
The waters in the Long Island Sound are much calmer than the ocean. If your thinking about taking dramamine, please do so 2 hours before departure.
YES, BYOB. It’s a good idea, as we do not serve food or beverages.

Yes, the mate will filet and clean your catches towards the end of the trip. Mates work off of tips- 20% and up is highly encouraged
Gratuity is not included on the open boat; our mates depend mostly on gratuity (20% and up). It's most appreciated!
Oh yes there is! Just let either the mate or the captain know that you need some help and we will be glad to show you.

There are two on the Never Enuff III, one for men and one for women, and one on the Never Enuff Express. The Never Enuff does not have a restroom, but there is a port-a-pot.
